19.5 hours to get there and 22 hours back: It was all well worth it!
Well . . . it would have been a little more worth it if I didn't have an aisle seat during two of the flights and if I splurged a little for first class, but what can you do??
I find travel to be one of the most beautiful things this world has to offer. Discovering new cultures and humbly respecting other customs is an eye-opening experience I believe everyone should have! The world is an unimaginably wonderful place! Go explore it!
This was the first time I was able to travel internationally with someone I loved, and I have to say it takes the cake! For example, go to Paris with someone you can kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower ;) 10/10 would do again.
I went to Bulgaria and Paris, while it was only a 6 day long trip, it was amazing seeing how these different countries operated. For example, Bulgarians ( at least in Sofia ) have a knack for graffiti! Not all of them are the usual gang signs you'd expect; some were pieces of art, like the Tupac photo in the slideshow above! Nearly every building was covered in graffiti and some them were actually really beautiful!
I do have to say that besides the fact that I do actually like snails ( Wow! Never thought I'd say that! ), one of the biggest things I have learned from this trip is that I WILL NEVER DRIVE IN EUROPE! You guys are on another level of bravery that I would rather observe than participate in. I think I sweat more in the back seat of a Parisian cab than in the Arizona desert, but I do applaud how easily you all maneuver through traffic!
There's Les Miserables tours in Paris. Right? Because that's on my to-do list for my next visit even if I have to make my own tour!
What are some of your favorite trips you've taken? They don't have to be international, for those who live in the U.S., our country is GORGEOUS! Where have you been that's taken your breath away?
